The future perfect simple and continuous

I. The future perfect simple:
Examples:
− By the end of this week, I will have revised all my math lessons.
− I’ll have handed it before Thursday
− I’ll have finished it before the dead line
− She will have finished before 9 o’clock.
− I will not have improved my English by the time I finish this course.
a. Form:
− Affirmative: S+ will+ have+ the past participle of the verb
− Negative: S+ will+ not + have+ the past participle of the verb
− Interrogative: will+S+ have+ the past participle of the verb?
b. use:
We
use the future perfect simple when we want to speak about an action or
event completed or done before a particular time in the future.
● Example: Fatima wants Samir to attend her party.
− Samir will have the exam on 1st June.
− Fatima will have the party on 3rd June
→ Samir will have finished his exam by the 3rd June and he will be able to attend the party.
C. some time expressions that are used with the future perfect simple:
− By the end of this year/ week/ month……// by the 24 June// by that time// by next October
− In two months time// by the year 2030// this time next year// in seven years time
− By the mid of this century// before Monday
II. The future perfect continuous:
Examples:
− You will have been waiting for more than two hours when her plane finally arrives
− They will have been talking for over an hour by the time Jane arrives.
− James will be tired when he gets home because he will have been jogging for over an hour
− You will have been waiting for more than two hours when her plane finally arrives
− You will not have been waiting for more than two hours when her plane finally arrives.
A. form:
− Affirmative: S+ will + have + been + verb + ing
− Negative: S+ will + not + have + been + verb + ing
− Interrogative: will + s+ have + been + verb +ing ?
B. use:
We
use the future perfect continuous to show that something will continue
up until a particular event or time in the future. “For two hours”, “for
two weeks”, “for five minutes”…..are all durations which can be used
with the future perfect continuous.
